Microsoft ISA

Microsoft ISA has come in the stead proxy-server Proxy 2.0 from Microsoft. Allows to organise protection of a local network against interventions from a network the Internet and it is safe to publish various kinds of servers, gives the chance to distribute access of users of a local network to resources the Internet.

The Internet is equipped by means for the analysis of visited resources, the traffic account, and also protection against attacks from a network. Has various kinds authotenfication and authorisations, including supports authotenfication Active Directory. Supports both working groups, and domains Windows NT. Besides all has set of plug-ins for tracing of proceeding and entering traffic.

On Windows 2008 it is not established any more. On replacement ISA Server has come Forefront.
